New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman recently announced that sex offenders will no longer have access to Xbox Live, a move that could prove controversial  within the deep underground rings of paedophilia. Some 3,500 Live accounts have been purged along with Playstation network and Origin.

This is the first time a move like this has been made to apply the laws that require offenders to send email addresses and usernames to the State government.
