‘Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD’ hits 120,000 sales in its first week!
I had no personal doubts that ‘Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD’ was going to be the game I knew it would be, after all it has been no secret that it was always going to have the same gameplay mechanic will a visual make over, with some extra added gameplay modes added into the mix. But the one concern that I had, is “would it appeal to new gamers or would it be an exclusive trip down nostalgia lane for those who loved the original?”
Well to be perfectly honest I cannot answer that question, I can only speak from my own experiences and I absolutely love the game and it appears that I’m not alone as ‘Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD’ has reached the impressive mile stone of 120,000 sales within its first week of appearing on the Xbox 360 Marketplace. Obviously this number will continue to grow with each and every day, especially with the forthcoming DLC support and a big thumbs up has to go towards developers ‘Robomodo’ for doing such a fantastic job of reviving a game that many people thought was long dead. With that being said, I’m now off to ride of my virtual skateboard, so ta ta for now!
