New “Spartan Ops” missions for Halo 4 set 6 months following the main campaign

343 Industries finally gave us details on a new mode in Halo 4, ”Spartan Ops”, a co-op situation which takes place roughly half a year after the campaign.

According to the developer, it will give fans 5 missions a week, as well as a CG cut-scene at no extra cost, almost reminiscent of the weekly “Mutation” modes available in Valve’s Left 4 Dead 2

Halo 4 catches a dropship onto the 360 roughly November 6th. Spartans, get ready for deployment.
