Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 – Info and Release Date

From August 21st 2012 fans of the multi-million unit selling Sniper: Ghost Warrior released in June 2010 will be able to play its sequel; aptly named Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2. 

Designed specifically around the ‘sniper experience’ games, with the help of the CryENGINE3 system, will offer the ultimate test of lethality for sniper fans. The title is likely to remain with its predecessors theme; special ops, though it is not known yet whether characters will remain the same. Similarly we have no detail on the main plot, though it is likely that battling hostile forces in the fictional nation of Isla Trueno will not be part of it.

Using the an improved version of the AI technology which made its predecessor so popular, including ‘one shot; one kill’ technology, Ghost Warrior 2 according to developers City Interactive the game will also offer “graphically stunning environments and more diverse sniper challenges.”
