We have all been waiting for news like this since Skyrims release back in November 2011. Downloadable Content for Skyrim may be announced sometime next week.
On Bethedas twitter account, Pete Hines (vice President of Public Relations and marketing) has stated that the studio is ‘working on getting a little more information out on Skyrim / DLC’ No solid dates yet, but he did mention, ‘Maybe next week…We’ll see’
So nothing 100% concrete yet, but this is all good news as it’s moving forward. Bethesda did state that they were going to be alot more careful with the DLC this time around compared to Oblivion and the Fallout series. They are planning the DLC for Skyrim to be less frequent but more substantial add-ons. And not forgetting, all Skyrim DLC is a timed 360 exclusive! So 360 users will be obtaining any DLC first! BONUS!
Hines also said that they were still trying to confirm a date for the Kinect update for Skyrim, something that myself and a few of my friends are highly looking forward to. They did originally state that the update should be out this week. Well it’s Friday now and nothing has happened. So I guess it’s not coming anytime now.
Stay tuned for more updates with the Skyrim DLC, but I want to know, what do you guys, our readers, want for the Skyrim DLC? Let me know in the comments!
UPDATE: So it’s been brought to my attention by a friend of mine, someone on the Bethesda Forums scanned the latest patch to see what sort of information he could find. The findings mention something about a snow prince, a new weapon and a new animation. I don’t want to spoil anything for those who don’t want to know, but you can click here to see the full findings. As soon as anything more official arrives we will let you know ASAP!
