It’s finally happened, Modern Warfare 3 - like all of its COD predecessors – has been hacked. The Hack enables users to be able to enter god-mode and fly, as well as move opposition equipment; perhaps most annoyingly the IMS. But it’s not just advantages for the ‘Hackers’, other users can have their accounts tapped and completely de-ranked, moving any level of prestige back to a Level One 1st Prestige, if they enter a private chat (or in some cases public chat) with an infected source.
The hack has only been seen currently on the Xbox360, but the games makers Activision and Infinity Ward are said to be fixing the issue and resolving any flaws exposed on all other platforms the game runs on. Activision have also been quick to announce that the problem of de-ranking can be resolved, however if you make one kill after the de-rank and the auto-save system automatically resets your account permanently; causing outrage amount Call of Duty: Elite subscribers.
