Infinity Ward has announced the latest content for Modern Warfare 3 and the Call of Duty Elite subscribers. Elite members will get early access to two new maps as well as the Modern Warfare 2 classic map ‘Terminal’ and not only that, but we will also be treated to a new ‘Spec Ops’ mission. All this content will be heading to Call of Duty subscribers via the Xbox 360 Marketplace next week on the 17th and it will be accessed to non subscribers the following day.
The details to the new content are as followed:
- Elite Drop 16: Decommission
A medium sized multiplayer map set in a graveyard of rotting ocean liners which offers an ideal setting for shoreline based combat action. This map will have plenty of places to spring surprise shotgun attacks!
- Elite Drop 17: Offshore
Located on an oil rig in the middle of the ocean, this multiplayer map comes equipped with cranes, helipads and various havens for you snipers out there. But be careful not to drop off the edge, unless you want to be swimming with the fishes.
- Elite Drop 18: Vertigo
Set in a luxurious ‘Oasis’ hotel in Dubai, this map will be the location of the latest Spec Ops mission as you fight off waves of enemies and helicopters. But never fear, as you will be armed with laser-guided RPG’s!
- Terminal
The popular Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer map makes its return and no camping in the shop! You have been warned.
As a Call of Duty Elite subscriber myself, I for one cannot wait for this new content heading your way on the 17th to Elite subscribers and the following day for non subscribers.
Were do I get the free map mw3 terminal?
You access it through the in game ‘Modern Warfare 3′ menu, select ‘Multiplayer’ > ‘Store’. Then select the ‘Terminal’ and what other DLC might be available to download from there.
I just signed into the 360 Dashboard and you can also download it directly from ‘New Add-Ons’ on the Marketplace.
