It faced some serious competition from some major contenders, but Lego Batman 2 managed to hold onto the UK top spot across all formats!
Second place goes to the web-slinging Amazing Spider-Man film tie-in, whilst new shooter Spec Ops: The Line managed to swipe the third spot. British patriotism took a back seat as the official London 2012 Olympics game hopped, skipped and jumped into fourth.
Bethesda’s monumental Skyrim managed to climb a place to seventh, most likely due to the anticipation for the vampiric new Dawnguard DLC expansion.
10th place was brought up by the Vita release of The Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, allowing it to enter the chart on all formats.
MGS’s sales were only a fraction behind Gravity Rush and Unit 13, as the HD Collection soon proved to be of the biggest Vita launches outside of it’s launch week.
Mass Effect 3 made a huge leap up the charts, from 36th straight up to the 15th spot, mirroring the Xbox 360 remake of Halo Combat Evolved’s jump -pack assisted thrust from 40th to 21st.
