Late September release for Hell Yeah! Wrath Of The Dead Rabbit

Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit, the insane side-scrolling odyssey from Arkedo, is set to land next month. Sega have announced the game will become available on Xbox from September 26th in North America, with October 3rd bringing a European release across all 3 platforms.

WOTD follows, quite aptly, a rabbit who has shuffled off his mortal coil. He has ceased to be. He is an ex-rabbit. There’s no pining for the fjords here however, it’s all about revenge. You get to rip your way through the battalions of hell, using things that bunnies of the real world can only dream of. Touted as a “Metroidvania” style experience, throw plenty of platforming goodness into the fiery lava mix and you’ve got a recipe for arcade action fit for the Lapin Lucifer himself.

On top of all this demonic destruction, the ability to buy cosmetic upgrades for Dead Rabbit’s head (and his main mode of transport, the wheel), stat bonuses and all new weapons should keep those in the fiery pits happy for a while, until Judgement Day arrives. Which I’m banking on being the Half-Life 3 announcement . . .
