PROMETHEAN ENEMIES AND WEAPONS 101

Halo 4 is crawling with enemies, literally. (In case you haven’t heard, we’re no longer talking about the Covenant. This is the start of a new trilogy, after all.) There’s a whole new race of alien hostiles in Halo 4 and they’re different from their series predecessors. The Prometheans are out to get you, well, that is, they’re after Master Chief, and they’re packing Promethean heat. To quote Sun Tzu, “Know thy enemy“…

Promethean enemies consist of three types (Crawlers, Knights, and Watchers) and eight classes: Crawlers, Crawler Snipes, Alpha Crawlers, Knights, Knight Lancers, Knight Commander, Knight Battlewagon, and Watchers. Each of these insectoid robot hybrid baddies is armed with special abilities and weaponry, the latter, as you might expect can be recovered and wielded upon the demise of its owner.

The Promethean weapons include six types of gun and one type of grenade, the Pulse Grenade. The Promethean guns: Boltshot, Suppressor, Light Rifle, Incineration Cannon, Scattershot, and Binary Rifle are all detailed and displayed in the gallery below. There is also a gallery of enemies, so you’ll know what it is your facing when it’s coming at you. Check out the gallery of images (each with its own description information) for each of the Promethean enemy classes as well as the gallery of Promethean weapons.
