FEBRUARY WORKS FOR ME – ANOTHER LEAK FROM SHOPTO?

It would not be the first time for U.K. retailer ShopTo to spill the beans on a major upcoming release. Previously this year, ShopTo leaked LEGO Lord of the Rings, much to my enthusiastic delight. Well, now it’s Gears of War Judgment, the upcoming prequel, in the spotlight.

Currently, on their website, ShopTo is displaying a launch date of February 8, 2013 for Gears of War Judgment. According to our friends at VG247, we’d be looking at February 5 for the U.S. This is consistent with the E3 reveal that the game would launch in Q1 or “early” 2013 (as is also currently displayed on the game’s official webpages). For now, the validity of this date is unconfirmed, but, considering the history, I would not be surprised if it is completely spot on. Expect updates as soon as more information and/or confirmation becomes available!

UPDATE: ShopTo has now issued a response stating that the date they have posted is an “estimate” on their part, representing a best guess, not a confirmed launch date. (via CVG)
