Whats is GamerScore?
GamerScore (Gs) is the MyXboxLive ranking system. It allows you to access content that you would not otherwise be able to get your hands on.
GamerScore also makes you eligible for the weekly giveaway. Pretty similar to raffle tickets, they are tokens you can use to:

How to Earn it
It’s easy to earn Gamerscore. Here are the methods you can access it(PPA=Point Per Action):
- Commenting (10 PPA)
- Liking on Facebook (30 PPA)
- Following on Twitter (30 PPA)
- Posting reviews, previews and news (20 PPA)
