Fable Kinect Integration for ‘Serious Gamers’
Fable: The Journey is for ‘serious gamers who don’t want to jump around’ says the developer, Lionhead. This announcement not only shows that more and more games are using Kinect, but also that developers are using it for other things, which doesn’t force you to look daft and bounce off walls. Definitely suiting to the more serious gamers who are always looking for new ways to fulfill that ‘ultimate experience’. The integration with Kinect and Unreal Engine 3 means you should have tons of enjoyment making spells with your hands.
The game will be in-store on the 4th of September, 2012. They have recently released the box art which looks really captivating. The Fable series has advanced a lot since the first game, and we must wait for what new and exciting features that, the whacky, Peter Molyneux has thought up for his last game at Lionhead Studios.
The plot is set 5 years after the events of Fable III, and focuses on Theresa and Gabriel (a dweller), played by you. A certain darkness called ‘The Corruption’ is taking over Albion and has wounded Theresa. You must restore Albion to its former glory. A more detailed preview will be coming, closer to the release.
As a true Fable fan, I can’t wait to hear Theresa’s voice once again and will be waiting for such an iconic Xbox-only game.
Stay tuned for more information on Fable: The Journey.
