Meet Devil May Cry

A younger, rougher, conspicuously darker-haired Dante returns in the upcoming DmC – Devil May Cry, a retro revisit to the Devil May Cry franchise. Devil May Cry’s new reboot also adds a new face to the lineup. Kat joins the cast of characters along with Dante. Devil May Cry (DmC) will be available for Xbox 360 and PS3 on January 15, 2013*, in Europe and North America. (*pushed back from the original 2012 launch)

The good people at Capcom have offered up a wealth of preview material to help whet your appetites, trailers and more below,… first, however, meet Kat.

KAT

“Kat is a former runaway that joined The Order very early in her life. She is a medium and a gifted psychic who can see into Limbo, the demon realm, but not directly interact with it in the way that Dante does. She is the right hand girl to the Leader of The Order and devotes her life to him, often putting herself in grave danger to gather intelligence from Limbo.

There is a sweet innocence about Kat’s world view and logic, but when it comes to her specialist subject, the demon realm, she is an undoubted expert. Kat is The Order’s ‘eyes and ears’ and is tasked with guiding Dante on his mission through Limbo.”

…Has anyone ever told you, you look like Kat Dennings? Nevermind.

“The Dante of DmC is a young man discovering and coming to terms with what it means to be the child of a demon and an angel.
