Not Enough Demand For Timesplitters 4!

Seriously? It’s possibly one of the most requested games that I keep hearing about, but apperntly Crytek’s CEO, Cevat Yerli, had a peak at the Timesplitter community to have a look into how much demand there is for the fourth installment of the series.

According to those results, the demand still isn’t high enough for them. Although, it has to be said that the current level of interest has prompted them to think about a comeback.

“I tested through my official blog to see how big the Timesplitters community is, and while the volume of responses was quite high, we feel it’s not high enough yet. That being said, it did indeed trigger a deeper evaluation of what we do with Timesplitters, and I can only say this for now; we might have some surprises coming soon.”

So really, it was high enough, but your not really willing to say just yet? When you think about it, Timesplitters: Future Perfect was released many moons ago, back in 2005! A 4th title is long overdue, and hopefully these ‘surprises’ that Yerli has mentioned will come much sooner than we all expect.

What was your favorite Timesplitters moment? I have to say, it’s where the name Akradon was created. So timesplitters will always remain with me for that reason. But I want to know your thoughts on the demand for TS4? Don’t want it? Need it? Let me know in the comments.
