Seems to me… you return a Vampire princess to her Vampire Overlord father… who tempts you with an offer to go steal and then use an Elder Scroll to allow the Vampires to become Day-walkers, yourself included if you opt to REALLY join their club; OR …if you side with the Dawnguard (possibly agents of Azura), you will thwart the Vampire Overlords plans. Bonus perks will be: Flying Nosferatu form for Vampires that you can morph into much like the Werewolves morph into Beast form, Crossbows, no more daylight damage (which is extremely inconvenient, if you’re a vampire), and of course, a wicked horse. This is all un-official speculation, that’s why I’m putting it here…
Does it have anything to do with Snow Elves? Are the Vampires descended from Snow Elves, that would be an interesting twist… and these Falmer Vampires would could reasonably differ from those turned Vampire via contracting PH… (hence the enhanced powers). But the trailer doesn’t really support the Snow Elf idea. I’m not sure if Snow Elves will factor at all yet.
