General manager for DICE, the amazing name himself, Karl Magnus Troedsson celebrated the 10-year anniversary of Battlefield recently at GDC Europe.

But that’s not all there is to celebrate about, because DICE are also busting out the part hats for their 20th birthday! Apparently, over 50 million players have been, ahem, “served” since the creation of the series. Giggity. Apparently, Troedsson is still “in love” with the “core franchise” of Battlefield.

At last count in November 2011, Battlefield 3 had shipped more than 12 million copies worldwide, with A Premium Edition of the game popping up on Amazon Canada, more than likely a way of celebrating franchise’s decade of giving Call Of Duty a run for its money.

Quite simply, I'm 18, I'm a huge metalhead (but I dont judge others for their music tastes), I'm a zombie "fan", if you can be a fan of the marauding undead. I've been a huge gamer all my life, and I've managed to get my 4 year old sister to follow in my footsteps (She plays a mean round of Crash Nitro Kart)
